Looking at the weather predictions for Mossel Bay during the convention weekend it seems prudent to advise people that there is a reasonable chance of inclement weather on Friday. Such weather would prevent safe passage over the mountains.

A number of pilots are planning to arrive at FAMO on Thursday rather than Friday to beat the weather front.

We suggest that all pilots and navigators make their own decisions based on up-to-date weather predictions sourced closer to their planned departure time.
