EAA 322 TEDDY BUILD : 28 FEB 2015

Kevin and Neville entertained many questions and were wonderful hosts to two teenage boys working on their school project focussed on aircrafts. Gareth and Ben left us inspired and thankful for the personal time and the knowledge-sharing that these EAA members were happy to contribute. This may well be the start of a lifelong career in aviation for them. Their departure was followed by a lovely visit from Athol and Christine, who flew in from FAGM. After a chat and some photos, we were ready to start working more seriously.

Tinkering with the tail pieces, a social lunch, followed by Kevin welding the tail pieces made up the balance of the day. Vanessa, Hayley and Karl were wonderful to have there and their support is appreciated.

Thanks to our little team of superstars ! Kevin Hopper, Neville Du Pisanie & Dylan van Wyk were on site this Saturday. Apologies were noted form Derek, as he attends to a personal matter and from Eugene, while he is away. We hope to see our regular experts - Derek, Eugene, Nico and Mike Haupt around at Krugersdorp soon to help out with the Teddy.

All in all, it was a good day. Not a huge amount of work was done on the Teddy, however, this is a small price to pay for enriching the lives of others.
